I am pretty sure you can%26#39;t get the schedule that far in advance.....You might just have to make plans and then rearrange as the schedule becomes available to the public. Sorry!

Thanks mate.

Tooo bad if I wanted to book some hotel nights in advance.... :-(

What is Fastamic like - what%26#39;s it all about?

Is it worth going on the Saturday just for this event?

Is it only on Saturdays?

If either Fantasmic or the fireworks are scheduled for the Saturday you will be here it is most definitely worth going on a Saturday for it. Saturdays also usually have longer hours of operation during off peak season, although the week you are going the hours may not be cut back too much on the weekdays.

Disney doesn%26#39;t put schedules up far in advance. Our Local Expert Darkbeer can give you the scoop on what most likely is going on.

Also, familarize yourself with Disneyland Resort by looking at fan websites and you will get to know what%26#39;s going on pretty good. I will post a link for Visions Fantastic. It has descriptions of rides and entertainment, so you will find something about Fantasmic there. It has video (for members - free) and discussion boards.

FYI, if you Google Fantasmic you will find at least a couple of websites that fully describe it with the whole script.

THansk Redhead.

Look forwward to that link.

Sounds like you been there done that - Lucky!

Click on Shows and Parades for Fantasmic information. The description may say that it is scheduled nightly, but that is not necessarily true in off peak season.

Be aware that the area around the Rivers of America where Fantasmic is performed gets very crowded before and after performances. Finding a seat (on the ground by the River) about an hour and a half (at least) before the performance is the best idea. Reserved seating is available at an extra cost.

I agree with RR that Fantasmic is not to be missed. It%26#39;s one of my favorite things to see there.....But, really, almost any kind of entertainment such as parades or big shows like Fantasmic are worth seeing at DL - they do such a tremendous job.

Anyone please correct me if I am wrong, but since you are wanting to plan for a DL trip that has as much entertainment as possible, it would seem to me that planning your trip over a Friday, Saturday, Sunday would be your best bet. And I would also think that the time of year you are planning to go would probably be a lower attendance time so crowds wouldn%26#39;t be an issue. If that helps at all......but RR is right that Darkbeer would be the final authority on that.

You might try going to www.youtube.com and putting in some keywords to see if there are videos posted of the event. I know there aren%26#39;t SUPPOSED to be, but everyone has a recorer in their phone anymore....

Hi, first off, been out of service the last few days due to a nasty bug...

As mentioned above, Disney hasn%26#39;t even decided its operating hours and what exact attractions will be closed for refurbishment for September.

We can make some educated guesses.

Monday, September 1st is an major American Holiday, Labor Day. Tuesday, September 2nd is the start of the ';off-season';, which means you should find Disneyland open 10 AM to 8 PM and DCA open 10 AM to 6 PM Monday thru Thursday, with extended hours (something like 9 AM to 11 PM for Disneyland and 10 AM to 8 PM for DCA) on the weekends.

We know that ';it%26#39;s a small world'; will be closed, it closed last month, and they hope to get it reopen by late November), also the Haunted Mansion will close on the 2nd to install the annual Holiday overlay, and should reopen either Friday the 19th or the 26th. This is also the official start of ';Disney HalloweenTime';. So you will notice decorations being added in the week or 2 prior to prepare for the event. There is also a good chance of finding a few other attractions being closed (more than likely nothing major, since 2 major attractions are already closed), mechanical attractions need periodic maintenance, and the off-season is the time to do it.

Hope this helps.

Hi everyone

First post on here, and off to Disneyland from NZ with the wife and kids in late April. EXCITED!! In reply to the comment from Redlands that you can reserve seating for Fantasmic (at a cost), can anyone give me a link etc for this, as I%26#39;ve been unable to find one. I%26#39;d read somewhere that this was no longer possible? Loads of great info here on this site, it%26#39;s most appreciated.

Does Fantasmic run on a Sunday night?
