Beverly Hilton to Malibu

We are staying at the Beverly Hiltonm this April and would like to visit Malibu. How far is it and which would be the best way to get there?? Thanks

You need a car of course. Then, it is roughly 15 - 20 miles from your hotel to the middle of Malibu, however, you should be aware that Malibu is located along Highway 1 from about Sunset Blvd. to (or perhaps a little beyond) the Ventura County line. I believe this is over 20 miles along the highway. For the exact routing, I would recommend google maps or a GPS device, although you could head west on I-10 where you will travel through the McClure Tunnel onto Highway 1 headed to Malibu. This is a particularly scenic way to go.

It will take you about 40 minutes. From the Hilton, take Wilshire (your hotel is on Wilshire) to 7th Street, turn right, take that to PCH (it winds), and then turn right. Malibu is about 20 minutes on PCH, past Sunset, past Topanga, past Las Flores...

The wonderful concierge there will give you a map. This can%26#39;t be done without a car.
