Taxi from SFO to Oakland Marriott??? Is it possible?

Hello, I am arriving late on Thursday evening at SFO Airport. Can anyone tell me if I can tax a car to Oakland? What is the best way to get one and about how much would it cost.

This is the Marriott on Broadway, right? I believe the hotel is about 25 miles from SFO, so taxi fare would be fairly steep--$85(??) BART would be the option and then take the taxi from the station to the Marriott. I would contact the hotel and ask their concierge for advice.

It depends upon how late you%26#39;re arriving. The last BART trains leave at midnight. (You can check at bart.gov to see the schedule.)

If you arrive at SFO before that, BART is def. the way for you to go. The 12th St. station takes you right to the Marriott.

the BART station drops you within one block of the Marriott, that time of night, luggage should not be a problem. Instead of dragging your luggage down an escalator, look for the elevator signs. Take the Baypoint Concord or Richmond train for direct service.

The only route direct from the airport is Pittsburgh/Bay Point, so Designer will be fine taking that to 12th St.
