Where to watch the Super Bowl---Giants fans

We are going to be in SD for the Super Bowl and would like to find a bar to watch it which is NY-friendly--or at least tolerant of highly emotional NY Giants fans. Thank you!

Where to watch the Super Bowl---Giants fans

Here%26#39;s a link to the SanDiego NY Giants ';meet up'; group. they watched the other games at PB Bar and Grill in Pacific Beach.

this is perfect---we%26#39;re staying in Mission Beach so it would be nearby.

thanks!

Go Giants!

Sandbar Sports Bar and Grill--adross the street from the the roller coaster in Mission Beach--would be another good place to watch the game.

Here we go Giants, here we go!!

If you had any huevos, you%26#39;d go to Seau%26#39;s! :)

Do the Giants even stand a chance??? What%26#39;s the line on the game??

I think the Pats are favored by 13, but no worries---the Giants have been in this position throughout the playoffs, no one has given them a chance and they have proven everyone wrong.

They came closer to beating them in the regular season than any other team so they have a good chance of winning---I%26#39;d bet the Giants to beat that spread.

13 points???? That%26#39;s pretty high!! You%26#39;re right....that last game of the season was CLOSE!! I think the Giants only lost by 3. The last 4 or 5 games has been like that for the Pats.

Denise:

Word of caution: there are lots of New Englanders here in San Diego and they bring their inferiority complex with them (i.e. they%26#39;ll root more for the opposing team, especially from NY, to lose than they%26#39;ll root for their own team to win.

To the other poster--Do the Giants have a chance?...I dunno... I guess the end of season 38-35 Patriot win was a blowout? Of course, the Giants have a shot especially if they can establish the running game which I expect they%26#39;ll be able to do.

Thanks for the heads up and understand how many people hate NY teams which is why I%26#39;m looking for friendly environs. Now we%26#39;re contemplating making the drive to Phoenix for the game, but we%26#39;ll see about that---hotel rates are outrageous (La quinta Inn is $400 a nite)and tickets would be even worse, but it%26#39;s a once in a lifetime chance, so just may have to!

Good luck...face value for the ticket probably starts at $400 or higher....you%26#39;re probably looking at minimum $ 750 per ticket just to sit in the end zone....use that money to have a nice vacation here in San Diego....one other bar that I forgot to mention which is NY friendly--though it would be a 20 - 25 minute drive for you from Mission Beach is Jimmy O%26#39;s in Del Mar.
