Bed & Breakfast accepting Kids & walking distance to PS

We shall be in Palm Springs, well first of all Rancho Mirage (3 nights) but then we want 3 days very close to downtown PS April 2 - 5th. I have been looking at various B %26amp; B%26#39;s but none seem kid friendly - perhaps I%26#39;m not looking in the right place! Any suggestions for kid friendly B %26amp; B%26#39;s?

Thanks in advance

I am just wondering why it has to be a B%26amp;B.Many of the small hotels and B%26amp;Bs are geared for romantic couples. Even when I went with my sister I had trouble finding a small hotel that had 2 beds in a room. I think you will do better to look at kid friendly resorts/hotels with nice pools.

The Palm Mountain Resort (motel with spa an dpool) used to be popular with families to the point that we had trouble finding space in the jacuzzi.

When I%26#39;ve stayed at the Chase Hotel there have been families with kids there. A lot of older people as well, but I don%26#39;t see that it would be a problem.

The smaller Inns in PS are not geared towards families with children at all. Especially this time of year ( summer is quieter and rates are lower, attracting more families )with the Golf Tournaments and so on.

I don%26#39;t know about B%26amp;B%26#39;s but the Palm Mountain is a good family place, or maybe the Peppertree Inn.

You%26#39;re also looking at the week of the Dinah Shore which is not a kid-friendly week in general. You may already know that.

Look into

Palm Mountain Resort

Comfort Inn

Las Brisas Best Western

all downtown and all would work for the kids.

Thank you for your suggestions. I%26#39;ve looked into the Best Western, which is a great possibility. Just hard thinking about spending $200 for a BW! I just noticed a newly opened Holiday-Inn but no reviews. I%26#39;ll post that separately. Dinah Shore Week - yes, that%26#39;s why we are looking for downtown PS - Lesiban%26#39;s with kids!!

I have stayed at Palm Mountain(which used to be a Holiday Inn) and it was nice. There were lots of kids etc.As for paying $200 for a BestWestern, that is actually common these days. BWs are individually owned small hotels and so prices are often similar to the independent boutique hotels in the area.

I would not pay $200 for that BW downtown. The Palm Mountain would be a better deal based on its lcoation alone. Ask to be on the west side, in the back , facing the moutain. Its very quiet there. We have stayed there many times.

The pool is betetr there too.
