airport shuttle to and fromLAX

I will be visiting Los Angeles and my departure flight is early morning. I will need a reliable airport shuttle to ensure that I am on time. Any reccommendations for hotels with reliable shuttles?

Where do you want to stay (area)?

Only LAX hotels have shuttles, and they are all reliable, as far as I know.

Please see our FAQs at the top of the LA Forums.

Thanks a lot!!

Yes, you didn%26#39;t provide any details. Where are you staying? Are you asking for a hotel that includes an airport shuttle near LAX? The only ones with shuttles are those right by LAX (keep in mind that it is not a walkable area if you were hoping to walk around and see something while you%26#39;re here). If you stay elsewhere (Santa Monica is only 15 mins away), you can use the SuperShuttle.

I have not booked a hotel yet ,but I want to be really close to LAX since I have to be at the airport by 5.00am. Any hotel advice?

There are several major hotels on or near Century Blvd near LAX. Years ago I stayed at the Marriott and the Hyatt, and they were fine. They all have airport shuttles and I am sure that they would be able to get you the few blocks to the airport for an early flight.

If you stay further away from the airport (e.g., Hollywood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills), consider taking a taxi. For the extra $20, it is a very fast trip and you don%26#39;t have to wait to pick other people up.

What time will you arrive the day before? If it is late and you are looking just for a place to rest your head. Any of the hotels by Lax will do just fine and will provide you with a shuttle in the (even early) morning

At 4am, there is no traffic. So you can stay in a nicer area than LAX and be there in 10-15 mins (Santa Monica, Marina del Rey, or Manhattan Beach are all good options, with a cab costing under $25). If you have time the day before to explore a bit, those areas would be much better to stay in (and consider the fact that it will still take you at least 5-7 mins to get to the terminals by the hotel airport shuttle). But if you%26#39;re looking to only sleep and not leave your hotel, then you can bid on a 3-4 star hotel on Priceline, about $70-80, and easily win. You will normally get the Renaissance, Westin, Marriott, Sheraton, etc for that bid. All of those hotels provide free shuttles to the airport.
