Is Evans the best way to get to Napa from the Airport(SF)?It seems as if its not that cheap so any advice????

Hmm. My first thought is...and if you get transported here, how will you get around? Evans is good (though not that convenient on the pickup since I seem to remember that their pickups at the airport are few and far between) but if it works for you, great. Will you be meeting someone or do you plan to rent a car in Napa?

We are meeting someone and have the use of their car for 3 weeks in Napa. But but we have to get to Napa from the airport we are arriving at 3pm on a Sunday and want the best way to get there.
Except for one-way rentals, which are probably not available in this case (but I%26#39;ll look around) Evans is your best option IMHO. Make reservations in advance. It%26#39;s not that cheap but it%26#39;s comfortable and pretty worry-free.
On the one-way rentals, you just have to pick a car company that is located both in Napa and at SFO. Some friends of mine do one-ways whenever they are traveling for extended periods (can be cheaper vs. the very high SFO parking lot rates)
OK - I did a quick check - putting in random dates - for me to book a one day, one-way rental from SFO to Soscol Ave in Napa would cost $80 (before taxes). If you have a couple of people or a small group, it could be worth it. I don%26#39;t know if the prices are the same for international visitors. (I used www.kayak.com and I believe the 2 rental agencies that work for this itinerary are Budget and Hertz.) Oh - thank you for asking this question - I reserved a one-way car rental from central Florida to Charleston, SC (about 6 hours%26#39; drive) for LESS THAN $5! Yes, FIVE DOLLARS! It pays to help people on the TA forum! :)
