Information on WorldMark Wine Country Angels Camp

We are headed to WorldMark Wine Country Angels Camp on July 14 through an exchange with RCI. Would appreciate any comment/reviews about this resort. Our group will range in age from 9 to 85 and our interest varies, so need suggestions for things to do both at the resort and the surrounding area

Information on WorldMark Wine Country Angels Camp

Angels Camp is well located for a Gold Country holiday, you are right on the route to riches! Head up highway 4 to Murphys for wineries, antiques, galleries and some world class dining. Go another 15 minutes and you are at Calaveras Big Trees State Park, This one has fairly easy walking trails around some really big trees. Heading a bit south on Parrots Ferry road you come to Columbia State Park, a restored gold mining village where you can learn how to pan for gold and a whole lot more. You are also only 2 hours away from the Yosemite Gate, this mite make a long, bur scenic day.

Copperopolis isn%26#39;t far from Angels Camp and there is a ranch there that does horse back riding, www.coppervalleytrail.com

Have fun!

Information on WorldMark Wine Country Angels Camp

There%26#39;s a beautiful lake in Angels Camp with camping, fishing, boat rentals etc., a museum, antique stores, a restored ';old'; movie theater and a great Italian restaurant in old down town.

I hope you enjoy our resort. We are WorldMark owners and Angel%26#39;s Camp is one of our favorites. There is abundance of things to do in the area. We have been there several times and still find fun new things to do. Great wine tasting in Murphy%26#39;s - and most for no charge.

Columbia is one of our favorite towns to head to. And in the Summer is will be bustling. Gold panning %26amp; wagon rides. Jamestown is also a favorite of ours.

Mercer Caverns is great fun for all ages: www.mercercaverns.com

All kinds of historical things to see. Our daughter enjoyed the gold mine... There is just so much. The staff is well versed in the area and will be of GREAT help to you. I have yet to be disappointed with any information that the staff has shared. Definitely ask them for ideas - they are great!

I will be happy to answer any questions that you have. Again - this resort is one of our favorites for a nice getaway from the hustle %26amp; bustle of life. Enjoy our golden nugget!
