I%26#39;m amassing all my info for a trip review, but I wanted to mention on this forum how much Lodi has to offer visitors. The Vino Piazza is just GREAT! I%26#39;ve scoured the Internet and can%26#39;t find any pictures to do it justice. Housed in an old winery, 12 small wineries either do their production there, or pour wines for tastings on weekends. On top of that, each place has it%26#39;s own room, shopping, art, etc each with unique character. Dinosaur bones and rare minerals in a winery? The Thai restaurant that used to be on Cherokee Lane is now housed here and was busy. They host comedy nights as well as music and food events in the courtyards.
We revisited Harmony Wynelands and played some music with Bob and Linda Hartzell on the old theatre organ. What a place. But we were shocked when we discovered the Berghold Vineyards. This place is like a palace! Facades from the 1800%26#39;s Penn. Dutch homes lined the walls, gorgeous art was on display and for sale, a concert grand piano sat on an Oriental rug in the center of the room (which they encouraged me to play) a fire crackled, and then the wines were poured. Fabulous! We met the owners and family, who were so warm and friendly. I thought we might never leave! More later in my CA wine trip review.
Lodi is changing, WOW! Vino Piazza! Berghold!
Linda, Thanks for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed you visit to our little village! Hopefully, you will be able to return!

I agree, we just recently ';discovered'; Lodi in the past year, there is a lot of real character and charm here that you would not expect. If you are into wine at all, you must check it out.
