We will be driving from LAX to San Diego(arrive in LA at 2 pm), and staying for two nights this summer. We have 11 and 9 year old girls who have seen some zoos, but have never been to a SeaWorld. We are staying at the Balboa Park Inn and will have a car. We are heading to Oakhurst after the second night, so when we leave it will be an early departure. What should we see in this short time? Thanks.
1.25 Days in San Diego - Best Things to DoI think you should spend a day in Seaworld, It will be busy in the summer mind you but its a definite San Diego must see and the kids will love it. Other great places since you are near balboa would be the balboa park and museums. Also stroll around little fun novelty shops and carousel for the kids-- little places to eat and a GREAT view of the bay at Seaport Village (this is one of my favorite places as a kid)!
