1 night in LA

Hi all

I am spending one night in LA in March - Im flying into LAX and then leaving from LAX the following day.

Can any one recommend an area I should be looking to stay in for one night - where we can have a look around the shops and there are some decent bars and restaurants in the same area.

Just a fleeting visit this time - or can someone recommend something we should do we have an afternoon, evening and then the follwing day before we fly home at 7 in the evening.

I wasn%26#39;t being a smart arse. Los Angeles is a suburb of San Francisco. Everyone in San Francisco knows it. :)

San Francisco is called ';The City.'; Someone famous (I can%26#39;t recall who) said Los Angeles was ';a hundred suburbs in search of a city.';

Anyway--enjoy your stay, and plan on another visit to see more California.
