Hello..........I have actually booked at another hotel but I have found a fantastic deal for the King George. Can you tell me anything about it??? Restaurants/Bars nearby????? Is it easy to get to transportation from there? We are currently booked at Villa Florence but we can save over $150 by going to King George plus we just found out VF is under construction.........We are arriving Easter Sunday and staying for 4 nights........
Any thoughts, tips, or tidbits would be very much appreciated!!!!

We have stayed at the King George several times.
The location is fine, just two blocks from Union Square, in fact very near the Villa Florence, so restaurants, bars, transportation will be the same.
The rooms are not overly large. I think they have two levels, with the higher level being larger rooms. They have a nice tearoom where tea is served on weekends and where you can get breakfast in the morning. They also have a small business center with access to computers. The lobby is very pleasant and comfortable, furnished in traditional style.
We have been happy there.
