How good are restaurants on Belden Pl. Can someone suggest one with good seafood pasta and without the tourist price. :)))
Belden PlaceI like Plouf for seafood. B44 is good for Spanish/Catalan. You%26#39;re going to pay at Belden Place, but it%26#39;s not just tourists that pay...I think it%26#39;s worth it for a splurge. Go when the weather%26#39;s nice. Lunch is a little cheaper.
Belden PlaceWhat does ';without the tourist price'; mean? Many of the restaurants on Belden Lane are good, and they charge accordingly. Locals comprise much of their clientele, and tourists do go there.
I%26#39;m not sure if any serve seafood pasta, however, so you may have to look elsewhere for that. On Belden Lane, you can get French style mussels with fries several different ways at Plouf. You can get Catalunian food at B44, which includes some fish.
I think the best restaurants on Belden are Plouf and B44. As others have said, the steamed mussels at Plouf is awesome, and same goes for the seafood paella at B44. Not sure on seafood pasta though.
OK, I am strange. We had the steamed mussels at Plouf, which I thought were adequate but not memorable, but I didn%26#39;t really care for the fact that we sat at an outside table, picnic style. And the alley was lined with other restaurants doing the same thing.
What did I miss? Obviously something because everybody else seems to like it.
Thanks everyone. I think Im going to try B44.
