Girls Getaway - warm beach - all-inclusive?

I%26#39;m looking for advice on an beach resort in the USA for a girls getaway weekend. But I have no idea where to go that would be warm and where we can lay on a nice warm beach and relax. Things we would like to do might be snorkel and shop etc. Price range for a total trip that we can afford to spend would be approx. $1000-$1600 for 5-6 day trip. We would like to go sometime at the end of March or April.

We would prefer an all-inclusive resort so that us girls wouldn%26#39;t have to carry around money on us and that way we would have to pay for food, drinks etc either.

Can anybody help w/some ideas. We usually go to Mexico, but this year we just can%26#39;t make it there. So we%26#39;ve decided to stay in the USA. Locations to go could be anywhere there is a nice warm beach. The state it%26#39;s in doesn%26#39;t matter to us.

Thanks in advance to you all!

There are NO all -inclusive resorts in the state of California ,like those in Mexico. They just don%26#39;t exist here. In addition the ocean water at the time you mention is still quite cold -low 60s .

Happy Hunting-Perhaps try Hawaii. It will be warmer but I do not think there are ';all inclusives'; there either.

Go to Hawaii!

...and for all inclusive to Baja California or Playa del Carmen in Mexico.

Look in Hawaii.

How about Laguna Beach? The Montage is right on the beach, they have two restaurants here, a spa, hair salon, amazing pool area and very friendly staff. There is als the Surf and Sand Resort in Laguna, they also have a restaurant, spa and it is right on a beautiful stretch of beach. Enjoy your trip! :)

LOL no one is going to stay at the Montage or in Laguna for 5 or 6 days for $1000 to $1600 AI.

Montage is $1,000/night, not $1,000 for the 6 day trip.

Mexico or Hawaii is their only option. Look up Hawaii Air%26#39;s package deals.

The Laguna Beach. com website shows rooms at the Montage starting at $375/night, Surf and Sand @ $275/night. We used this website for booking our stay at the Montage in Dec. of 2006 and the Casa Laguna Inn this past Dec. :)

5 nights at $375 per night is 1875. 5 nights at $275 is 1375. No one has eaten or done anything else. How does that fit into the stated budget?

I live at the beach in Southern CA. The water temps in March/April will be very cold. My son will still be wearing his full wet suit when he goes surfing. None of the beaches down to San Diego will be pleasant enough for swimming or snorkeling that time of year.

Best advice is to go to Palm Springs area. There is an airport there, or fly to Ontario, CA. They have lots of hotels and resorts in all the desert cities, wonderful swimming pools to get a tan. In fact, the Esmeralda Resort in Indian Wells, has a sand beach pool. They are part of Mariott chain, if you have points to use. Lots of shopping in the desert.

In your price range, the Mariott Residence Inn Palm Desert, offers 1-2 bedroom suites, kitchenettes, free hot breakfast and cocktail/snack hour in the evening. That%26#39;s the closest thing to a warm, all-inclusive I can think of in CA.
