Union Square - Starbucks!??

Okay, so this is probably a very silly question, but here it goes.....will it be difficult for me to find a Starbucks in the Union Square area? I%26#39;ll be staying at the JW Marriott.

Sorry, but I just had to ask! :)

Union Square - Starbucks!??

390 Stockton @ Sutter

They are everywhere, as well as Peet%26#39;s, Tully%26#39;s, and others.

Union Square - Starbucks!??

Thanks!

Are there any places to get a beer in Canada?

Just kidding. :)

If you%26#39;re staying at the Marriott...there are actually four in the block adjacent to it. One in the Metreon, one in the parking garage, one on Third St...and another one I can%26#39;t remember. I think your only challenge would be in trying to avoid one...

But while you%26#39;re in the Bay Area, check out Peet%26#39;s. Locals really prefer it, and so far it%26#39;s not a national brand. There%26#39;s one in the basement food court at the Westfield Mall on Market.

You%26#39;ll have a hard time *not* finding a Starbucks. Maybe Silver Terrace. Peets has much better coffee that actually tastes different from blend to blend.

macjack,

OP is not staying at the Market Street Marriott, but at the JW Marriott on Mason and Post.

There is a Starbucks on Geary. Walk a block down the hill, turn right, and you can%26#39;t miss it.

Thanks everyone. Yes, I know Starbucks is everyone (as beer is here in Canada! LOL -- very funny Chinn)

The reason I was thinking about it is that I had originally booked myself at the San Francisco Marriott and they are suppose to have one located in the lobby. I%26#39;ve switched hotels to the JW Marriott and I started wondering about how convenient one might be located to that property.

Starbucks are popping up everywhere over here now too. I actually tried that Peet%26#39;s coffee that was suggested. In fact I tried it when I was in San Francisco last (okay, not really, I was on a 2 hour layover on my way to New York -- I%26#39;ve never truly visited SF). I thought it was very good. Just as good, if not better, than Starbucks. I totally forgot about that place. Thanks for the reminder!

Couldn%26#39;t resist poking a little fun at your question. :) Went to Quebec last summer and fell in love with poutine, add a beer and I was good to go. Gotta go back in Feb/March and experience the sugar shack, eh?

I know it%26#39;s ';slightly'; exaggerated, but Strange Brew was one of my favorite movies of the 80%26#39;s, gave me a whole new appreciation for my neighbors to the North.
