nice hotel with child friendly pool in WLA or Santa Monica

I am an Ex LA girl (been 25 years now) and I%26#39;m coming back for a 30 year high school reunion (being held in the Sheraton Delfina Santa Monica) I am looking for suggestions for accomodations suitable for 2 adults and a five year old. Spacious and clean plus a nice pool key (preference for west LA or Santa Monica). The Delfina is $359 a night so room rates lower then that is what I%26#39;m looking for.

Would also consider Marina Del Rey but expect the rates might be higher. Any help would be appreciated.

Santa Monica is not cheap for a nice hotel. Loew%26#39;s is kid-friendly at around $250. So consider that one. I agree that Marina del Rey is not a bad idea for slightly cheaper rates.
