Need A Room For Two

We are looking to get a room for two. We are travelling the San Fran Route 1 to San Diego.

Plan to do the following

3 Nights in San Fran

2 Nights Napa Valley

1 Night on Route 1 Monterey Bay?

3 Nights in San Diego

Does anyone have any suggestion for where to stay in San Fran. We like to have a couple of drinks, however not get blown away. I was thinking Fisherman%26#39;s Wharf, however I do not need a Luxury Hotel.

Any Advice

What is your price range?

Need A Room For Two

I am going back and forth with price range. I do not want to be cheap, but I do not need luxury. I assume we will be spending most of our time out of the room. So guess if I can get it for 100, however I know where I am going etc... so lets say 125-190.

Thanks

Iwould like to suggest the Chancellor in San Francisco. If you check out the reviews here you will find them outstanding. It is not in Fisherman%26#39;s Wharf, but in Union Sauare, where you have access to all of the types of public transportation and good restaurants, etc. It is a boutique hotel with a great staff. All of the rooms were refurbished, very tastefully, last year.

You might want to visit the Starlight Roof, in the Sir Francis Drake Hotel across the street for a drink and a view.

Another vote for the Chancellor, but to that I would also recommend looking at the Orchard and the Villa Florence.

For Fisherman%26#39;s Wharf, I think the Holiday Inn Express would fit your bill.

Union Square is where you want to be and at the risk of sounding like an echo_____-The Chancellor.

Perfect location and a great little hotel.
