King George Hotel - Parking?

We arrive in the evening and we are picking up the car from the airport so that in the morning we can leave early and go to Marin County.

Have just found what looks like a good deal on Travelzoo. King George Hotel in Union Square for $79. Before I book I would like to know if there is a parking close by and how much would it cost?

Can we park on the street during the night? The plan is to get at the hotel at 8pm leave the car, go for a walk and dinner close by and leave SF by 8am the next morning.

King George Hotel - Parking?

The Downtown Center Garage is right across the street from the King George. Ask the King George their parking rates and check the garage for a park and leave it price. They should be able to tell you what the price is at the garage if you leave it until 8am. Parking on the street can lead to a ticket. There is often street sweeping and no parking.

Don%26#39;t even think of trying to park on the street in that area. The garage mentioned is exactly across the street from the hotel and the rates are reasonable.

Just be sure you have a map showing the one way streets when you go out the next morning. The hotel can supply you with one.

We parked there last weekend and, even though we are in the city a lot, we had to take a roundabout way to get to Geary Street and the Golden Gate Bridge :~)
