kayak / snorkel in La Jolla

From the websites that Chissis provided me earlier (thanks!!), I found these two that fits our schedule.

Hike Bike Kayak, Inc., hikebikekayak.com/Snorkel_Kayak_SanDiego.html

and

San Diego Bike and Kayak Tours Inc.

Does anyone know which is a better company?

.

One of them provides Just Snorkeling.

Would you prefer Kayak plus snorkeling or just snorkeling?

Which would be more fun and more to see?

Thanks!!! =)

I%26#39;ve kayaked in La Jolla, but not with a tour. I%26#39;ve also done a lot of scuba diving there and a little snorkelling.

I would hold off on booking a snorkelling trip until a day or two before. Ask the shop what the water visibility is like that day (or go out to La Jolla Cove and ask around). If it%26#39;s less than 10 feet (and there%26#39;s a good chance it will be), there won%26#39;t be much to see snorkelling. The ';vis'; changes daily, so it%26#39;s hard to guess.

Kayaking is almost always nice in the protected waters there, and you should see plenty of seals/sea lions on a trip.

I took a Kayak and Snorkel Tour with The Bike and Kayak guys, and it was awesome.
