Help with location for 1st timer

My husband and I and 2 kids(11,12) will be in the LA area for the first time in July. We want to spend time at the beach, see some sights in Hollywood and 2 days at disneyland. I have a hotel booked for our last 3 nights across from DL and was planning to book 3 nights near a beach. Which beach area should I book a hotel? Should I cancel the DL booking and book 1 hotel in a central area for the 6 nights? If so, any ideas as to which area? We will have a car but don%26#39;t want to spend to much time driving. Thanks for any help!

If you spent t3 days at disney, you should keep your hotel in that area. No need to drive around at all

For the other time, look into the Santa Monica area. It is by the beach, a nice place to walk around with multiple restaurants and shops to roam around and fairly close to all the major Los Angeles Sights like Hollywood and Beverly Hills

Manhattan Beach is nice and laid back, and Sea View Inn at the Beach is just 10 minutes from L.A. Airport. On Saturdays and Sundays, the traffic won%26#39;t be too bad into Hollywood and Beverly Hills, can you work around those days? It will save you a lot of traffic headaches, and those are also the busiest days at Disney so are the days to avoid (altho all of July at Disney is mayhem I guess).
