California in December

We have just come back from a fantastic 2 weeks in California. We loved it so much we want to return, and as we are restricted by School holidays we are thinking of going in December. Is there anywhere where we will still get some good weather and warmth? we have around 3 weeks at that time and would like to travel around a bit. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Winter weather in California is nothing like London. I spent the coldest winter of my life in Cambridge :~)

However, you won%26#39;t have the warmth of a South Sea isle. There could be some rainy days, but there could also be some gorgeous sunny ones. Southern California will be warmer than northern California, possibly, and if you want more go to Palm Springs.

Since you have been here, I won%26#39;t recommend what to see or where to go. Just don%26#39;t worry about the weather.

I think our regular Dec. weather here in SoCal will be warmer than what you are used to in London! Give it a try. We always go to the Palm Springs desert area (Palm Desert, La Quinta) around the holidays. Very nice there, not to say you wouldn%26#39;t get a day of rain. So much to do and see in that area.
