I plan on going to Catalina Islan in mid May with some of my girlfriends for my bday. We are all 21-13 years old. I know they have some clubs and bars in Avalon. We only plan on staying on night (fri-sat) and wanted to know if anyone could reccomend a good hotel for younger people and how to make the most of our time/money. Thanks!

did you mean 21-23 years old? If so then I recommend a nice budget hotel right in the middle of town where you went spend too much money on the room and you can enjoy the sights and activities of avalon. My personal favorite? Hotel McRae. It is very affordable and has a central location. It is also close to great restaurants and the chi chi club so when you guys are walking around drunk after the club you wont have to go far to get to your room! Hahaha....

Our favorite place to stay is right in the middle of town, just steps from the water. It%26#39;s Pavilion Lodge. The nice thing about it is the large grass patio area, to relax on lounges, and free breakfast. Right next door is Luau Larry%26#39;s Bar, lots of fun there.

And don%26#39;t miss Descanso Beach Club during the day! Great food and the only place in Avalon where you can have a cocktail on the beach! Lots of fun. You can also try the Hotel Atwater for a good value. It%26#39;s also right in the middle of town, stumbling distance from the Chi Chi club!
Descanso Beach place is one of my favorite places to hang out.
Rent a golf cart for $40.00 dollars and hour and drive around the island !!!
