Cost of taxi fare from Disneyland to Universal Studios

We will be in LA July 2008 and would like to know what a taxi would normally cost (approx) from Anaheim to Universal Studios and Anaheim to LAX etc.

We normally recommend that you book transportation through Grayline Tours for these trips. Grayline has a tour from Anaheim Resort to Universal Studios that includes the cost of the coach trip. I believe it is no longer considered ';free when you purchase a full price ticket';, but it certainly would be better than taxi fare. They also have a Deluxe Tour, Universal by Day and Hollwood by Night, for a larger amount. Their Disneyland Express bus has frequentely scheduled trips from LAX to Anaheim Resort Hotels as well as return trips. The cost is reasonable. If you prefer to take an airport shuttle to your Anaheim hotel, it would be a lot more. Taxi fares between LA and Anaheim would be very costly, though, considering that the two cities are in two different counties and much traffic between the two.

There is a CityPass available for So. Cal attractions including Disneyland Resort than can help to save money if you are considering Universal, Sea World, San Diego Zoo. Grayline offers bus transportation for an add on amount to these destinations.

You can also get a shuttle to the Anaheim train station and take AMTRAK or Metrolink (cheaper) to Union Station and then the red line subway to Universal. See www.metrolinktrains.com or www.amtrak.com

We just recently did anaheim to universal. Cost was $180 plus 15% tip. This isdoor to door and it will get you there when you want. Get there before opening time as the grayline tours get you there well after opening time. Tell tony when you want to get there....he was just brilliant and we used him to go to a lakers game, a ice hockey gane and other places like newport beach. He has a great luxury van and you will be impressed.

Much better than a yellow cab.

I highly recommend him.
