This is a no lose question! Your choice. Squaw Valley North Lake, Heavenly South Lake. There are other locations that may better suit individual choices. If you provide filters, the choice might change. But for a blanket statement, it is Squaw and Heavenly.

Wow just naming 2 out of at least 15 resorts is truly limiting. If you stay on the north side of the lake you will have really easy access to 12 resorts. On the south side you have reasonably easy access to 3 resorts, Heavenly, Sierra at Tahoe and Kirkwood.
